Description of Surma Games
Surma Games was founded in January 2018 in Oulu, Finland. The game studio started as a student group inf Oulu Game Lab, a game industry training program in Oulu University of Applied Sciences.
Oulu Game Lab has several "Gates", pitching contests where game industry professionals judge which games have the most potential. After Please the Gods passed through all Gates with flying colors, the team formed a full-time game studio to bring their vision to life.

Please the Gods
Your family is starving and only a miracle can save you. The skilled hunter Sisu sets on a journey to the land of the Gods to find the legendary Sampo, a treasure of endless riches and nourishment. Please the Gods is an atmospheric old school fantasy roleplaying game, inspired by shamanistic Finnish mythology and tabletop classics such as Hero Quest.

Please the Gods is a retro turn-based role-playing game based on Finnish pagan legends. The game was released for Windows in Steam in 15th of July 2019 at 7,99€ / 9,99$.
